I've got about two weeks left before the Climb to the Top in 200 Clarendon Place. I've been adding some extra floors to my usual lunchtime climb. Today was from -2 up to 18, at which point I turned around and went back down to 6, then headed up again until I got to 34, the machine room for the building elevators. I was sweating like a horse by the time I got there, but whatever, I've gotten used to that and keep hand sanitizer wipes in my desk for cleaning up before changing back into my business clothes.
I've been doing other exercises along with the stairs, though. Not the squats so much, although they did help when I was doing them before and I should probably reinstitute them at some point. I've been trying to work on my arms a bit, using some of the exercises I used to do for archery, or at least the ones I could manage without weights. Today I took a stab at proper push-ups instead of just pushing off the wall. Turns out I can do about ten diamond push-ups in something like an approximation of proper form, and then once the EEEH HHH EEEH HHH phase of recovery is done, go back and do some diamond wall push-offs (same basic idea as the push-ups, except that you use the wall instead of the floor, so gravity doesn't play nearly as much of a roll). I'll be working on that some more in future.
Flight school tomorrow. Tonight is probably leftovers and some studying for the written flight exam, and probably some Fallout 4 (playing as post-nuclear Dilbert so that I'll have an IC excuse to go Institute). RP when and where and how I can manage it; it helps to clear my head after too much exposure to CNN/CNBC/BBC News Online.
