Went to see Star Wars this Sunday. Didn't. Apparently all the tickets were sold out for every showing except the 5:30 and 9 PM 3D showings- as of Saturday. I had no desire to sit through 3D, so I'm waiting for a bit before I see the movie.

OTOH I was able to get some last minute Christmas shopping in at a Wilsons store that was having a really ridiculous sale, so that meant some nice presents I couldn't otherwise have afforded. So that's not such a bad thing, really.

No flight school this weekend. My cold and coughing fits seem to finally be gone, so I"m trying for next Sunday instead.

We saw it in 3D by mistake - generally I avoid 3D because migraines, Z because it just annoys her, and A because she is almost blind in one eye and hates it. All three of us came out being impressed by how much we hadn't noticed the 3D part of it, if that helps? Very unobtrusive most of the time. Clearly they're not of the "make EVERYTHING DRAMATIC!" school of 3D animators.

...I just realised this post is like six days old but shhh, i'm catching up slowly.

No worries. I did see it in 2D yesterday and I admit I spent one or two scenes going 'okay, this is the show-off-the-3D-technology part', but it wasn't nearly as egregious about that as it could've been (I'm looking at you, Avatar).
