Okay, the rain came through somewhat after my last post, which is fine by me. Temperature dropped to around 50 F, too, which is nice; I'm not a big fan of 90% humidity/80 degrees F as a combo. It's still raining now, or at least drizzling, and probably will through tomorrow. The flash flood warning for my area's been expired, thankfully.

Made beef jerky for the office yesterday. It's going over pretty well so far. Usually does. I did two different batches this time, one relatively low heat (smoked paprika, ancho chile powder, urfa biber, coriander, smoked salt, brown sugar) and one with Vulcan's Fire salt/spice blend, since I had more meat than usual and not everyone at the office likes the really hot stuff.

Will be going to see Weird Al in concert this week. Never been to one of his shows. Should be interesting.

The low heat batch sounds delicious! Paprika isn't my favorite, but I love ancho and urfa biber sounds yummy as well. The people at your office must appreciate you and not just for keeping their systems running.
