Is there anyone reading this who would like soap or bar shampoo for their winter holiday of choice? I'd like to get them made now so they have time to age properly before I send them out- also I need to get the right essential oils. (I'm thinking an orange-cinnamon-clove blend should cover a lot of ground at this time of year, but I'm open to other ideas/preferences/requests.)

Hmmm. I wouldn't mind trying out a bar shampoo of said blend.

Not a problem. I should be able to work something up. Orange primary scent, cinnamon and cloves after that, ratio about 4 parts orange : 2 parts cinnamon : 2 parts clove sound OK?

Coolness. I ordered the essential oils and the castor oil today, so as soon as that stuff arrives I can get a batch made. Hopefully it'll arrive quickly so the bars can age. I'll need an address, though.

Sweet. Gonna need an address. Won't be able to make the stuff until the oil order I put in today arrives, but I should be able to get something out the door before Christmas/Hogswatch/the tail end of Hanukkah.

Can't think of much off the top of my head. Sparkly dice or marbles or something if you absolutely must, but I'm good, honest.

Count me in, if there's enough soap to go around. I have a Christmas gift idea for my youngest sister now. :)

There ought to be. I bought four ounces of sweet orange essential oil, one of cinnamon, and two of clove (this was by mistake but I use clove for other things anyway). Since the essential oils are my real limiters- I can scale up the recipe, the other ingredients come in larger containers- I should be able to do a good number of bars for people.

I can probably also do up a batch of regular soap rather than solid shampoo, too, although I have to decide on the scent to use and a basic oil formulation.
