note to self: do not leave the sourdough starter out overnight by mistake. now I have to clear starter that attempted to escape out of the cracks in the microwave door.

Well, it wouldn't be very good starter if it weren't alive, now would it? It just tried to escape, that's all. I'm going to get it a wider mouthed jar and feed it properly this week so it builds its bulk back up.
