I've got the windows open and the screens down in most rooms of the apartment, because I am finally starting to believe we're not in for the Fimbulwinter this year after all.

I don't know if it's just my imagination or gladness at warm weather or the actual number of birds or what, but I swear, I can hear so many birds outside my windows that it's like walking through the New Jersey woods again... I mean, with different species to some degree, obviously, but still.

I missed that.
