Less than thrilled with being female today. I went with pad-and-tampon redundancy this morning, repeatedly bled into the pad despite the tampon being of reasonable absorbency, and wound up sneezing hard enough that the tampon shot out while I was on the toilet. At least it's not hurting too much, but still... yeesh.

My sympathies. Been there, done that, had to take drastic measures to get that kind of thing to stop. It was well worth it.

It doesn't get like this often enough to be an issue, thank God. And as I said, it's not as painful as it could be- something like once or twice a year I get cramps bad enough to make me swallow 2400mg of ibuprofen at a time, or wish I could, and today just feels like average discomfort. People who go through worse than this on a regular basis have my deepest horrified sympathies.
