Dec. 31st, 2013 08:41 amThe latest installation in the How You Know You're Me series:
The profoundest relief you've felt in weeks comes when you ask an Aquarium employee why you haven't seen any bonnethead sharks in the Giant Ocean Tank and it turns out that they've been temporarily removed for anti-parasite treatment with copper sulfate. Your genuine heartfelt response is, "Oh, good. As long as they're all right."
(This may be closely tied to the feeling of relief bordering on tears that you felt when, during the citywide lockdown after the Boston Marathon bombing, you glanced at the Aquarium's Tumblr and saw their post saying 'we're still closed but the animals are safe and well fed- here, have a video, we could all use some fish to look at and relax'.)

Date: 2013-12-31 02:42 pm (UTC)It may have been coincidence but I swear it looked as if the stingray in the GOT was following the Aquarium's scuba diver around. Definitely looked like a happy elasmobranch, though.
(I got your card, btw. Thank you. I will be sending some extremely belated cards out to people this week, as I only got about half my Christmas cards out the door on time. My bad.)
