crap, is today a voting day?? I thought election day wasn't til next month!

It's a special election here in Massachusetts because Rep. Markey was elected to the Senate seat vacated by Secretary of State Kerry. We're filling his vacant seat, that's all. Regular elections- local officials, ballot initiatives, etc- aren't until November.
