Sep. 28th, 2013 02:25 pmWent to the Charles River Museum of Industry and Innovation for the Francis Cabot Lowell Bicentennial. Wound up mostly hanging around outside at the demonstrations of things like blacksmithing and yarn spinning, but that's okay. I now have a brochure on blacksmithing lessons and I'm thinking this sounds like a thing to try at some point soon.
Figured afterwards that I should find a coffee shop or something and maybe get lunch of some kind, so I started wandering up Moody Street since I knew there was no Starbucks in town and that I would be better off just looking for a place on foot than consulting Google Maps. I wound up at More Than Words Bookstore, which sells used books and coffeeshop stuff. Turns out it's their annual dollar book day.
My poor backpack never knew what hit it.

Now I imagine you're in even greater need of bookshelves.
