Jul. 30th, 2013 08:44 amWoke up this morning from one of those dreams you're absolutely convinced is real while it's under way. First reaction to being awake:
"Oh, good, I'm in my own body!"
Second reaction to being awake:
"That means my skull is still intact!" *reach up, very tentatively feel around* "Yep! Intact skull, no exposed half-a-brain! I'm in my own body and everything is where it belongs!"
.... you probably don't really want to spend a whole lot of time in my head, is what I'm saying.
"Oh, good, I'm in my own body!"

Date: 2013-07-31 12:53 pm (UTC)Or, in somewhat shorter terms, it had roughly the same level of 'no no no' as the dream I had in college where the first thing I did upon waking up was phone my mother to confirm that she had not, in fact, divorced my father that morning and immediately married some guy named Walter. No cold sweats or hammering heartbeat and fear response after, just- "Oh good! It wasn't real!"
As I said, the inside of my head is kind of a weird place to be and other people probably shouldn't go there.
