Will continue to add to the list as necessary. Sometimes I just need to rattle off the name of some pre-War book and I kind of want to go for stuff that sounds like it would really belong in Fallout.

Two amazing books I once found in my highschool library were "Nuclear War and YOU: A Survivor's guide" (which now I'm not sure I didn't hallucinate, as apparently I'm the only one on the internet who's ever heard of it) and "The ABCs of Armageddon" (which I currently own; it's a dictionary of terms relating to nuclear war).

AH! A Million Random Digits with 100,000 Normal Deviates, one of the great classics. Is that the one put out by the RAND Corp. or something?

Yep, it is! The thought that reliable random number generation was faster to do by consulting this book than by other methods is so strange.
