As part of a paragraph on the Boston Harbor Islands web site about sea kayaking out to explore the islands:

Remember: The harbor is an active port used by HUGE cargo ships and tankers. They cannot stop to avoid a kayak!

Because you just KNOW somebody did something regrettable.

Yeah, I've heard of that one. Every so often I catch myself thinking I should buy a copy just to say 'it's not just a weird joke, I have it and I've read it'.
