For what it's worth, the NYC-Boston bus service Limo Liner is really quite nice and generally, I think, worth the extra price one pays above and beyond the cost of a Greyhound. However, we did lose a tire on today's ride back to Boston and wound up spending two hours waiting for the next bus or the repair truck (the next bus came first) and so I did not roll into Boston until around 12:45 am. Please be aware that while the service is an excellent bargain compared to most Amtrak trains, most Amtrak trains generally don't wind up having to stop because of flat tires or other mechanical problems.
Other than that it's a damn fine ride, so make up your own minds. me, I'mma go bed.
