Well, it was eight degrees F outside this morning, or so one of the web sites I checked for the weather told me. Little bit colder than my current heavy duty coat is designed for, and winter's far from over.

I'mma go see about a Bulgarian army surplus coat or something. No sense screwing around. New England isn't forgiving about that kind of thing.

You guys have your humidity jacked way the fuck up from the coast. That always makes the cold worse.

I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my own Bulgarian Army Coat. It will be ever so much more stylish than the Comforter-As-Coat Human Handgrenade looking thing I've got now.

But yeah, the city is ass cold. The only comfort I'm taking from the cold hitting on this side of the solstice is at least the days are getting progressively longer. That helps.

They were sold out of that model when I went to the site, alas. I wound up buying a Polish one instead:

It might not swish as dramatically, but it has a nice look to it. I may go back to that site at some point and replace my leather jacket, too- mine's coming apart inside and losing dye on the outside, as far as I can tell.
