Sometimes I almost regret not having a Facebook. I have no interest in getting one, but I just got an email from Hope for Paws, who you may remember as the animal rescue folks a while back who found a terrified, blind dog on the streets of LA and were able not only to rescue her but get a doctor to give her back sight in one eye. (If you click on the link, their homepage starts auto-playing a video about that rescue.) They're trying to help another organization win a grant via Facebook likes, an organization that's helped them in the past. If some of you guys who have Facebooks of your own could help out, I would really appreciate it. Here's what they sent me:

"We are trying to help our friends at The Forgotten Dog Foundation win a $20,000 food donation, so they can use their money to pay for medical bills, plus they would help Hope For Paws with feeding homeless dogs.

This organization helped us many times with fostering many of the dogs we got off the streets, and we really owe them some help in return.
