Sep. 11th, 2011 11:51 amI was going to come up with something original for today, but ... well. I no longer agree with the church in which I was raised on many, many things, but when I saw the scripture readings selected for today I kinda had to say "yeah, okay, I can go with that".
For those of y'all who'd rather not go into the text and/or who use different editions of the Bible, which may or may not include the books selected for today's readings, I'mma just sum it up here: Wrath and anger are hateful things; if you would seek pardon for your own faults, do not refuse mercy to another.
's a good lesson for any day, especially the twenty-fourth Sunday in ordinary time in the year 2011.
That's all.
