Sep. 27th, 2010 07:56 amWell, this weekend went okay. It was supposed to be my vacation up in western Massachusetts, but I canceled in order to get ready for an upcoming business trip. More details will follow in a flocked post if people are interested. Didn't get as much done as I'd hoped, partly because I got worried about Shula, partly because I decided that I needed at least one day of mental vacation even if there was nothing else.
(Shula's all right, for what it's worth. While he likes his Pet Guard food very much, I really think it may be responsible for his urinary problems, and will get him a case or two of prescription cat food tonight to ease the situation.)
The fuzzy in my icon is Kamella, standing on her hind legs in my bedroom window to get a good look at a bug outside. She and Shula are getting along better, but it's still slow going. One step at a time, I guess. I'll be getting her insured as soon as I can- preferably once the check from the insurance company comes in, as they rejected Shula's entire claim initially. Turned out that we hadn't faxed them an itemized receipt, so they reopened the claim when they received one, so with any luck the claim will be approved this time and I can get down to paying people back.
My apologies, btw, for this turning into an endless stream of chatter about my cats. I will do my best to resume producing other content and making it more interesting to people who could not possibly give less of a toss about someone else's pets- I realize that too much of one thing is no way to keep people interested. I tend to worry about those close to me, however, and my cats qualify. I'll be better about content in future.

Date: 2010-09-27 09:07 pm (UTC)It's your LJ, here for your edification and entertainment, not mine. I love hearing about you, about the things you care about, about your day to day trials and tribulations, even the freakin' weather for pete's sake. It's a blog about you. That's why I read it. Even if it is all cats all the time. If that's what wave length you're on, I'd like to know it.
Here, have a cute kitten. (MRAO!)
