Back at work after a week's vacation. I seem to have missed most of the big AUGH WHAT THE NETWORK stuff that happened, so that's good. I'm feeling pretty relaxed and mellow. Hopefully I can start getting back into the various games I stepped away form for a week, but I do have to say that I'm really enjoying this relaxed and mellow thing, so if people whine at me or pester me beyond a certain point I'm going to point them at wadewilson's PRETENDY FUNTIME GAMES post and wander off whistling 'For He's A Jolly Good Fellow' until they've read it all the way through.

Because honestly, RPGs are not worth getting into wankstorms over, and blood pressure is more important than OMG MY CHARACTER or OMG SOMEBODY ELSE'S CHARACTER.

Also, I have half a box of Milk Duds that welded themselves together, and prying them apart in between catching up at work is a marvelous thing.

Will just say that I made a point of bidding a fond farewell to the mun who very graciously announced her own departure from the game. There is little we can do about wangst, but at least we can make sure than we encourage and appreciate those who, when choosing to leave, do so in a mature way.

Oh, and by the way. Your clever attempt at homicide by cat? Was not successful. Although Tiki did nearly give me a heart attack when I got out of the shower last night only to discover he had found his way into the bathroom. There's nothing quite so surprising as stepping out of the tub into a face full of pissed off tabby. And Shula is doing his best to crush me to death at night, by crawling onto my face while I sleep. But I am wise to that trick after many years of living with Duzell. You will have to train your feline assassins a bit better before the next time they come stay with us. ^_~.

Milk Duds are best when they've half-melted and then re-solidified. Unless you happen to have braces or a retainer. And then they're a comedy routine.

Yeah, it's not a problem. They're actually starting to settle in, I think, if Tiki joining me in the bathroom is any sign. And the other night we found him up on the counter in the kitchen, helping us wash the dishes.

We could use a little more food, if you want to bring some by, but other than that we're cool.
