During Fallout 3 last night I suddenly found that the right control stick no longer worked. My batteries weren't dying so far as I knew, and all the other controls worked, so I figured I'd busted a moving part on the controller. I bought a new controller today, brought it home, and fed it the last pair of batteries I had left in the Duracell pack. To my disgust, even after syncing, the right stick still doesn't work- ANYWHERE. Not in the game, not on the Xbox dashboard, nothin'. Even after cleaning the game cache out on Fallout or running Initial Setup.
Any idea what to do? Should I trade the controller back for one with a cord and see if that works?
ETA: On the Xbox Live dashboard, the little gamer avatar's head moves when I move the right hand stick, so it IS responding on at least some level.
ETAgain: Right stick works JUST fine in Mass Effect, though not for doing anything on the Xbox Live dashboard. Huh.
