PERSON ON OTHER END OF PHONE: [bla bla bla bla]
PEOPLE IN APARTMENT NEXT DOOR: [sudden and massive howling without any warning at all]
ME: .... I think the Super Bowl's over.

Date: 2009-02-02 04:08 pm (UTC)I was walking to the corner store and there was massive howling up and down the block both on the way there and on the way back.
the first was 23-20, the second was 27-23.
I have to admit: even though I'm not a football fan, the prospect of the Cardinals winning the Superbowl- over the Steelers no less!- made me doubt the existence of a just and merciful God.
