Well, hel-lo Mr. Subconscious. So good of you to show up tonight. What do you have for me this evening?

... okay, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure Jedi don't wear glasses. You get blind Jedi who rely on the Force, but Jedi overall don't wear eyeglasses. No, not even Bill Adama little round wire-frame eyeglasses of awesome.

... yes, I agree that Edward James Olmos as Qui-Gon Jinn would make the part considerably more awesome.

... oh, that's actually supposed to be Jedi Master Adama as Obi-Wan's master. Okay. That's kind of an interesting prospect.

But he still wouldn't be wearing glasses.

(This commentary brought to you by the conscious waking mind, which was rather surprised to remember last night's dreams at all and wishes that there was actual dream plot to report on, but will settle for the snatch of remembered material presented above.)

What's freakin amazing to me is I know what you are talking about, fandom wise.

I am a geek.

HA.

I personally vote the last choice. :) But what do I know? Last night I dreamed that I was something like a Starship Trooper, big gun and all, only I was blind.

Blind with a big gun? I'd say Stormtrooper instead.

I feel Jedi Master Bill Adama can wear glasses if Jedi Master Bill Adama wants to.

Because he's Jedi Master Bill Adama.

(Also, a Roslin figure would also have made the trilogy considerably more awesome. Although so would many, many things.)

Hm. I dunno. The problem I have with Jedi Master Bill Adama is that Adama's not... exactly the picture of serenity, a lot of times. Dude's got a lot of rage that he utterly flips out with whenever Olmos' Method acting moves him to. (That poor museum-piece model boat...) As a Jedi, he'd be on the fast track to the Dark Side.

Would Jedi do the equivalent of laser surgery for their eyes? Or would they just go bionic?

And you reminded me of a slightly cracked dream I had recently. It *seemed* like the typical romance novel plot involving a pirate, his pretty daughter, and the naval officer charged with capturing them, except for the part about the officer falling for the pirate. XD (What was really odd is that I haven't read/seen any nautical-related stories recently, not even the PotC movies, so I have no clue why my brain came up with that.)

You make an excellent point.

Speaking of your brain, do you still have that post where you deduced that Santa Claus was the Herald of the Outer Gods, which is why he could be in all places at once, and knew who was naughty and nice, and you didn't want to catch him at work?

I'm interested to hear what you think of "Children of an Elder God" by John Biles & Rod M. (which asks the question "If evangelion chronicled the struggle of the Children against not the christian and gnostic gods and angels but the Great Old Ones of the HPL mythos, just how much more insane would shinji get?") and especially their christmas special (which makes more sense after reading the to about halfway).

"When the snow falls and water turns to ice,
Then shall come the Lord of the Frozen Wastes,
Who knows what evil lurks in the hearts of men.
He is the Rider in Red, girdler of the world.

From the north he comes,
Bearing joy to the good,
And a sign of their fate
To the wicked.

Every home he visits,
He is in all places at once.
For he is the son of Yog-Sothoth,
The All-In-One, the Key and the Gate.

None can turn aside his eye.
None can deny his passage.
And all the world trembles
When tiny hooves strike their roof."

Gendo finished reading from the book on his desk, then
turned to Fuyutsuki. "I've already set POLARIS to watch the
North Pole."

Fuyutsuki raised an eyebrow. "This had better be one of
your jokes."

"It's right here in the copy of the Necronomicon which
belonged to the Whatley family. Be careful with it; it's in bad
shape. I believe old Wizard Whateley misinterpreted this
passage, which is what led him to his ill-fated human-Outer God
breeding experiments."
