*dancie dancie* I'd be cackling "IT'S ALIIIIIIIIIIIVE!" if it seemed appropriate, but Victor (my computer) has *been* aliiiiiiiiiiive for some time now, ever since the new mobo and the video card reconciled to each other's presence. No, no, today I got a copy of WinDVD and got my DVD drive to work. Dropped in a copy of The Fifth Element (cool movie) and hey presto! We have movie. The sound's not the best, but I don't really care. I'm not a high fidelity nut. I just want to be able to watch anime and other oddities without having to compete for TV time with my family, who tend to favour things more along the lines of "Judging Amy" or football.
Speaking of which, tomorrow I'm going shopping. I daresay it'll be a little less crowded, owing to people trying to prepare for the Big Fat Television Holiday Parties. And if it's not, so what- it's not like I watch football anyway. I barely even watch sports at all.
Oh,yeah, and I upgraded to a paid account. Seemed like a neat thing to do - this service is cool and I wanted to support it, plus I wanted to use extra pictures.
