Phone rings. I pick it up, ready to go "You're not supposed to pick me up until nine, I'm not ready to come downstairs yet!" Instead of the driver who's supposed to be getting me, I get a recorded voice:
"An Inmate From Hudson County Correctional Center Has Attempted To Place A Collect Call To This Number. This Is A Service Provided By Global Something Or Other. To Discontinue This Recorded Message, Press One Now. To Accept Calls From-"
I pressed one. I don't know anybody who'd be in jail and who'd call me unless Merav's been arrested.
