Yeeeeah, I'd been gauging a Ghroth Vs. Unicron battle in my head for some time now (Unicron seems likely to win, since Ghroth doesn't really demonstrate much offensive capability beyond 'just you wait until everybody I woke up gets here'). Amalgamating the two... seems kind of counterproductive for most of the Mythos, actually. Ghrothicron would wake up the Great Old Ones on any given planet so that it'd be tastier when he chowed down.

Indeed. If you want to go for a planet-sized Great Old One with some firepower to send up against Unicron... well, there's always Pharaoh 90 and its daimon hordes, but that'd entail bringing Sailor Moon in on top of everything else, and critical mass may have already been reached. n.n;

Yeah, no. Once Unicron enters the picture about all you can do is whistle for Yog-Sothoth and the Autobots at the same time, and hope that the Beyond-One slams the gates of time and space shut after the current Prime arrives with the Matrix of Leadership but before Unicron can shift into another reality.

We have a Bumblebee (his player's brilliant, but I think RL bit down on him or something, because I haven't seen Bee in months), an Optimus, and yrs. truly plays Ironhide. Ratchet would be nice if we could find somebody.
