Dear Brane:

While I appreciate the number of inspirations that you have thrown at me as a result of two or more ideas, concepts, etc. crossbreeding with one another and yielding up the combined result, I am really going to have to ask you to take that sort of thing a little more slowly from now on.

I am reasonably sure that Sting did not intend to convey any kind of experience with the Great Race of Yith when he wrote "Fortress Around Your Heart", rather like Paul Simon did not intend any kind of description of or interest in Nyarlathotep in his guise of the Black Pharaoh when he wrote "Under African Skies".

Why are you doing this to me? Have I been licking children's toys from China or something?
