Dilemma decision:

camwynOpted not to slack - much. The lawyers said I didn't even need to come in at all, so what I did instead was this:
1. Went to credit union. Got out $200.
2. Put $200 in regular bank to cover price of air conditioner I bought last night. (ALL HAIL WILLIS CARRIER, MIGHTY GOD OF A/C!)
3. Went to Starbucks. Got chocochip muffin (no espresso brownie, sob sob) and mocha frappucino. Funny thing about San Antonio, I saw maybe one Starbucks the whole time I was there.
4. Mainlined the frappucino (okay, not really, but after 3 wks. away (I got Starbucks the first week, in Denver), it sure felt like it) and chowed down on the muffin.
5. Came into work around 9:45.
Now one of our Board of Directors is offering to pay me extra to come to her house and remove a virus from her computer after work on Friday. Normally I'd say no, just because I don't like work people assuming that I will do work for them when I'm not at work, but a) she's offering to pay me extra and b) we had something like 22 attempted virus intrusions last night. Given that this board member is infected with Klez, there's a REAL good chance she's the source of some of them, and the fewer machines harbor that little snot of a virus, the happier I'll be.
So now it's all cool. I'm scanning the Fundraising Director's laptop for viruses and other problems, kicking back with what's left of the frap, listening to my CD, and generally not being bothered. I c'n deal with this.
