Aug. 1st, 2006 12:52 pmWatched the Doctor Who season finale with Ten last night.
WAAAAUGH.
That's all. Just WAAAAUGH. Also, I'd like to buy the soundtrack please.
... is it a bad sign that that episode put me in an immensely better mood after a bad day wrestling with SQL server?
WAAAAAAUGH.
ETA: Fair warning, there may be spoilers in the comments.

Date: 2006-08-01 02:12 pm (UTC)This season reminded me of my liking for a certain Macauley poem 'Horatius'
"For how may a man die better, than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers and the temples of his Gods."
Horatia on the stairwell ;-)

Much as I loved Rose, I can't wait to see more of the (I suspect) snarky-as-all-get-out runaway bride.
And, by the way--on a related topic--I thought that utterly crack episode about the mundane losers tracking evidence of the Doctor on Earth was proof that the 'Doctor Who' writers have been watching a *lot* of 'Farscape'.
I mean, an intentionally all-crack episode of 'Doctor Who'. Has that ever happened before? Twenty-five plus years, but I don't think it has.
New Dr Who
