Pirates of the Caribbean: SO. MANY. TENTACLES.

.... yeah, I saw it. Was good. I liked the Obeah woman. And I'm afraid all of 'maybe she wants Jack, maybe she doesn't' was lost on me because my brain spent every last moment of those scenes going 'Bet you $5 that man has syphilis'.

But otherwise? DAMN I liked that movie.

Still haven't seen it, but I just wanted to say that the second I saw that this was a Pirates of the Caribbeam post, I immediately thought:

Cam is going to comment on the tentacles.

And I would not take you up on that bet. He's probably like Mr. Burns--so many diseases that they all keep in perfect balance and keep him from dying.

The rest of the crew's makeup was pretty entertaining, too.

You know the thing that bothered me out of the whole movie, death, tentacles and potential syphilis and all? That little sore on Jack's jaw that refused to heal. That really icked me out.

And Elizabeth had a matching smudge on her jaw, opposite side. Symbolism? You be the judge.
