Saw the hairball. Saw examples of Civil War and First World War reconstructive surgery. Saw things that I don't think I saw at the Mutter Museum. Will tell you more later- this is a borrowed computer and the keyboard is a slightly weird European layout that I'm having some trouble working with. Lovely stuff, though, well worth the taxi ride out to Walter Reed and the rather weird navigation to find where the museum was located on the campus.

Apparently won the costume contest for my Ray Stantz. Will report on that when, again, proper keyboard.

Have also sung "Enormous Penis" in front of a live audience, with a plushie Nyarlathotep on my head at the time. I think it had the desired effect.

Overall, I'd say this day was a net positive for me.

Ugh. Any time the words "Civil War" and "surgery" appear in the same sentence, I just shudder. =)

Very glad the con is going so well, especially for its first time.

A DaVinci Notebook fan!

I was a long time fan of theirs - so sad they've broken up.

Is it an enormous song about a penis, or a song about an enormous penis? I mean, I've heard the detachable penis song, but not the enormous one.

(It's a song about a penis that is detachable, in case you were wondering.)

Been to Walter Reed and yes loved loved love it. But I thought they were closing the whole damn thing down with the base closures last year or the year before? I mourned it even.

And in terms of the enormous penis, what exactly WAS the desired effect? Inquiring minds wanna know!

Something tells me I want to hear this now. The lyrics make me want to rock out with my...well, okay, not continuing that, but only because it would be far too easy and my time would be better used thinking of much more unique puns.
