Retaking the MS exam today (70-270). 1:15 appointment time. Not so much with the looking forward to it, but I'll deal.

May sacrifice co-worker to the Aztec gods if she walks in silently and hands me the lunch menu without warning again.

Wonder if any of the Aztec gods could lend me a hand with the MS exam.

If they can, I say sacrifice her with a clear conscience. 's for the good of the company, after all.

Good fortune go with you today!

...probably. Don't go to Tezcatlipoca, though. Rat bastard.

And because I am anal like that, I looked up the Aztec gods and found one who might be inclined to help you:

Nanautzin. God (or occasionally Goddess) of Humble Bravery. (http://www.godchecker.com/pantheon/aztec-mythology.php?deity=NANAUTZIN) Really good at fortitude and self-sacrifice.

I don't know. I would think coming to the exam all bloody from offering her still-beating heart to Texcatlipoca would make the test supervisors rather flustered and stern. ;)

Most of these are self-tests on computers.

Frankly, I think coming in with blood on her would just make it obvious she works in the financial field. I still have sneaking suspicions about sacrifices and/or black ops groups within the company I work for.

Give them hellish sorts of things.

When I used an Aztec god in Kismetropolis, I went with Xipetotec whose bounty served the tech support people well.

Ha. There's an issue of "Swamp Thing" v2 (one of the few things of Nancy Collins' run that didn't suck) in which a group of villagers in Central America perform a sacrifice to summon Xipe-Totec... and get the Swamp Thing instead, though with the implication that Xipe-Totec might've been a previous elemental of that time. He's not entirely cool with summoning via blood sacrifice, but when he finds out it's 'cause they want revenge on Sunderland Corp. (a mega-corp that's been a long-running pain in Swampy's proverbial ass) for screwing them over, he's totally willing to oblige.

And he ends up becoming the sun, which is pretty cool. I mean, tech worker to God, come on.

(And yeah, my skin is the same way.)

Pointed over here by [livejournal.com profile] xianghua. As resident Aztec archaeoethnologist, I suggest sacrificing co-worker to Xipe Totec. He works fast, and you get the bonus of getting to flay the coworker.

Failing that, Tezcatlipoca's pretty much your all-purpose go-to guy.

Just start at the back and work your way around. He really likes it if you wear the skin as a jacket, but that's more brownie points than necessary.
