I really do rather wish my brain would keep certain things readily available. For instance, the fact that people were using the word 'mythos' long before HP Lovecraft's work hit the market, and that they are still using it, and that it has no ingrained relation to his stuff whatsoever.

That being said I still don't think it's a good idea for a restaurant to name its turkey panini sandwich the Mythos. It's a case of either anticipated tentacles or serious hubris, and neither one ever ends well.
