This is how you know you have a good church: your phone rings at 8 AM on Sunday, and it's someone calling from the parish to tell you that Pastor's canceled services due to the weather because she doesn't want anyone to risk their lives in the face of this weather.

I live next door to the church, mind you, but if the whole service is canceled I appreciate not having to walk outside to find out.



(Now if there's just enough letup for me to return yesterday's rental car efore 8 PM...)
