camwynOnly the one, but http://www.megaloceros.net/pen.htm has a new picture of Fang down near the bottom. I started on a second, but every time I got about halfway through the rough shapes portion of the sketch my Suckitude Sensors started going off. I eventually erased it all and gave up, then came up here to scan and colour the new pic. Nothing much, have a look if you like.
Meanwhile, I've run into an interesting situation. On Tuesday night I had the unnerving experience of encountering someone RL who looked very much like I suspect Fang does in RL. The original model, the first time I drew Fang, was a one-inch-high photograph of Jet Li that I happened to have in a magazine. Later I described Fang as looking like 'the illegitimate offspring of Jet Li and Calvin from Calvin and Hobbes'. An RP scene Monday night had burdened Fang with sprayed purple hair, temporarily. Fang is 5'5", just for reference. I'm 5'9". Imagine my shock when I walked past someone at school who was four or five inches shorter than me, had short, sprayed blue-purple spikey hair poking out all over the place, and looked remarkably like Mr. Li... I should've yelled 'Victor!' or something, just to see if he turned around. And today someone told me that she spotted Fang, quote, "Disguised as Jet Li on some video cover." I may have to do some movie hunting.
I wouldn't be quite so worried about this if I hadn't put together a soundtrack for the character the other day and burned it to CD. I'm working on the cover design and am going to need some help from a Chinese speaker to add in a few elements, but if anyone's interested in the playlist, lemme know.
