:: how jedi are you? ::
Man, I can't tell you how many first stars seen at sundown got used up on wishing 'I wanna be a Jedi Knight' when I was a kid. And even now I can't pull it off. Oh, well, Han is cool . . .
Meanwhile working, and doing my first PBEM, which seems to be going pretty smoothly so far. VicMage.Asia is a lot of fun even though we're still in one of the more sketchily-written-up areas, rather than somewhere as detailed as China. I figure if I can debug the setting like this, I'll have a winner on my hands.
Karate tonight, then a Moot at the MU* where I still play a Garou. Should be interesting. He got yelled at for saying he didn't want to be Alpha and didn't think he should ever have been Alpha - c'mon, can you blame him? His sept is mostly Wendigo and Uktena, and he's a goddamn Russian Jewish-ancestry Glass Walker Ragabash from Detroit, with a Coyote totem, and he's the one who's been in charge for three IC years? He's wondering why Gaia hasn't struck him with lightning yet! (Of course, there's a pretty good chance this can all be chalked up IC'ly to Coyote deliberately mucking with *his* head, but you never know...)
Today's pulp survival tip is #54: Make damned sure that as many of your party as possible know first aid and can use it - and are willing to use it.
"Ancient weapons and hokey religons..."
Date: 2002-05-31 12:45 am (UTC)I'll go on public record and say that your PBEM does indeed rock. If the bit that we're in is the sketchy part... woo-hoo, the 'main' area is going to be major league fun.
Time to dust off my planning hat...
