It's not happening. *raises baseball bat threateningly at brain* My stupid neurons just coughed up the 'Apocalypse- What, NOW?' cartoon episode and provided a scene involving John and the summoning and the mess-up and the OMG THE BEAST IS GOING TO POSSESS ALL OF HUMANITY COS JOHN KILLED THE WRONG THING OH NOOOOO and all of a sudden, the trap comes sailing in from offscreen. And it just goes downhill from there. I'd have an easier time making a working crossover story (rather than just a scene) out of the Ghostbusters-Hellboy cross I postulated a while ago.
