Having mailed my NY state taxes in, I now have a terrible urge to stop at a sandwich place or a White Castle or something and buy a bunch of food at random, then go down to the big PO across from Penn Station and offer the food to people standing in line. The only thing is, the tax lines will be ENORMOUS and I doubt even White Castle can stretch far enough to avoid having some people get cheesed.

Hrm.

See, here's the difference between you and me. You look at those poor people and say "I want to feed them." I look at them and think "Boy, am I glad I got this done ahead of time; there but for the grace of foresight go I. Bahaha."

It's not that much of a difference. There are usually news crews at area post offices for the 11 PM news on tax day. I have a tiny urge to see if someone points a camera at me for trying to feed these people.

Originally I wanted to go down with a thermos or three full of hot chocolate, but this isn't the weather for that. Ah well.
