And who am I to disappoint? We all talk about rising up and overthrowing our alien insectile overlords, but you, at least, had the guts to make the attempt. It's a shame you had no way of knowing that Iapetan chitin has a higher tensile strength than Terran titanium alloys and so would require a laser-guided diamond drill bit to crack, but you did get that pit dug and lined with spikes in time for the fourth annual Procession Of The Conquerors through the streets of San Antonio, and that's what counts. Better luck next year!

You not only share my RL first name but I'm pretty sure you share a chunk of my brain, even if it's only the obsession cortex (the part that deals with things like knitting, Sims, cooking, and roleplay). And while normally I get kind of tetchy about having to share my name with nearly an entire generation of American females, with you I don't mind at all. Also, I admire your way with kids, particularly your own; I don't seem to be able to deal with them except as inconveniently small adults most of the time, so people with parenting sk1llz are t3h r0x0r as far as I'm concerned.
