I don't know much about zombie movies, hence the low score. I kind of assumed that a combination of 'run like hell' and 'you get down there and you shoot anything that has more than two legsless than four brain cells' would be enough to carry me through regardless, and on the last question... well, I dunno if a machete would've done me better, but baseball bats are a weapon I understand.

Tell me about it. My trusty Hoyt Custom Pro recurve, a sweet forty-two pounder with no sights and no stabilizers, would generally be my weapon of choice. Of course, this could be something of a problem with zombies, since really you want the guns to cause structural damage- they don't much notice having a kill site plugged the way a deer would. But still.

I failed miserably. I'm one of them.
But I do believe I'mm the most zombie-experienced of any of you.

Back when I was in college in Pittsburgh, Romero filmed the original 'Dawn of the Dead' using lots of drama students from Carnegie-Mellon U, where I was attending. (I'm old ;) The bus would come in the evenings after the Monroeville Mall, where it was filmed, closed down, and picked up all the students that wanted to extra that night. They'd pretty much film through the night and in the morning, the bus would come and unload bleery-eyed students, many still in their zombie makeup. I never went, not being a drama student, having morning classes and feeling much too sensible for that all. But my roommate went nearly every night. For about three weeks straight, I woke up to her stumbling into the room in Dawn of the Dead makeup. A lot of them just wore it all day all around campus, too.

Maybe I scored so low because I'm indoctrinated?

It all depends on the zombie. If pithing the braincase works, you're in. If they require dismemberment, light firearms aren't going to help much anyway. Me, I'll be the guy with the grenades and the flamethrower.

Tennis racket + timed explosive charges = poor man's grenade launcher (but if the charge gets stuck to the racket, don't try and free it. Just throw the entire thing at them and duck - fast!)

I don't know. Is survival in a zombie world worth it? Look at the benefits of the zombie package. Immortality. Immunity to bodily injury (ok, not true immunity but you don't care when you get hurt). Being able to eat what you like. Never having to fill out another tax return, ever again!

I wish they filmed some good movies around where I am. The best two so far were Ghost Rider, and the embarrassing Queen of the Damned.

Well, there's that whole rotting flesh thing and not being able to hold a decent conversation, but you do make a very good point. I'd probably never have to stand in line at the DMV, either.

I happened upon the filming of a scene from Spiderman II when I was in NYC a few years ago, which was kind of cool. My son was also an extra in the Sandra Bullock film "Forces of Nature" when he was about 9, but he's all out of focus and you'd never know it was him unless you knew it was him :)
