Professor has posted semester grades in the Saturday class. That's the one I hated, with the project that had me insanely nervous. I got an 89 on the project, yielding a final semester grade of 90 points out of 101... which translates to 89%... which is an A-.

I passed. I even got the letter A in the grade. Yay me.

Now to see how the term paper went over in professor Chang's class, but I'm not so nervous about that. Thank you GOD.

Do they use modifiers on your grade scale?
Or is this going into the offical records simply as an "A"?

I think they do modifiers - A, A-, B, B-, Take The Course Over Again, and You Just Plain Suck (aka C and F).

We only use the letters, so it doesn't matter whether you made your A by 1 point or 50. It still looks the same on the transcript.
Personally, I translate the grades to Great, Good, Tolerable If It's Not Your Major, Better Luck Next Time, and Give It Up, Sucker. (A,B,C,D,F)
