CHRISTMAS BONUS.

GAH.

...

Last year I got a shirt.

"You've never worked in the private sector. They expect results." Yes, they do, Ray, and apparently I'm delivering.

Still. WOW that was nice. I'm going Christmas shopping this week and getting people decent stuff for once.

That would be the ONE thing I miss about the private sector...

Congratulations!

I remember my first, and it was the worst. I was stuffing envelopes in an ambulance chaser's office in Troy. (Hi, Cy! Asshole.) He dropped the check on my desk, turned around, and walked out. One hundred measly bucks. And as he was heading out the door, he muttered "Don't spend it all in one place."

Neat! Two years ago, I got a windbreaker: last year, I was between contracts, so I got nuttin'.

Cool. It's early yet for Christmas bonuses, so it looks like your company is thinking ahead.

Some plces (like where I am) only give yearly bonuses.

I'm hoping that what I've been hearing has been right ad we're getting some good solid ones. My laptop's reaching end-of-life and I think it's about time for a new one.

Congratulations! Who do you think is responsible? Did I not ask you last night, with a mischievous air, if they loved you at work?
