camwynWow, 160 gigs takes a long time to format...
Mace is purring away in the other room. I couldn't get the original CPU to boot, but the CPU from Victor worked just fine. Sometime this weekend or next weekend I will give the original one more try- I still have to hold the power button for a second or two in order to get her to boot up, so maybe if I do that...
Anyway, Mace is semi-operational. She's formatting 160 gigs of serial ATA storage, and then installing Win XP Pro. Then she's gonna copy all my data from Victor's old hard drives, and then I'm gonna switch over to using her for the evening. And, maybe, see how old chip + ass kicking video card + ass kicking memory handles Sims 2.
