Nah, Maui rocks!

In the Maori versions of his legends, he fished the North Island up out of the sea, trapped and beat up the sun to stop him moving so fast across the sky and make him give us longer days, and all manner of cool things. :)

Oh, cool. I didn't know much about him, so I wasn't objecting to him- I was just hoping that my favourite trickster would be on the list. (I like Raven. Ever since a wild one spoke to me in Tofino- granted, it was only 'hello, hello' and it was repeated over and over, but still.)
