Work resumes
Apr. 26th, 2004 01:40 amon Hellblazer: Hogwarts tomorrow. Yesterday was spent mowing the lawn and skating rather than writing, and I had other obligations today, but I should be able to get some work in on John's tale come the morning.
In the meantime I've added a few more chapters from the Diary of a Mountie to the Sergeant Preston of the Yukon fanfic page at my website. Those of you who've been reading my LJ since last June, you're probably already sick of the good Sergeant. Those who've just arrived, the long and the short of it is that the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen has very different membership rosters in different years. In 1936, England sent for a new team: the Shadow, Tom Swift, Hugo Danner, Lord Peter Wimsey, Sergeant Preston, Mary Poppins, and one Dorothy Gale, of Kansas. The Sergeant did his best to keep notes on his time with the League; upon his return to Canada, the Sergeant presented his notes to his superior officer. The Diary itself begins here. And of course there's more fic about him to be found here.
I do way more than bizarre crossbreeds with Harry Potter, thank you very much. Although I did have the Sergeant very briefly encounter the Mirror of Erised, but you should really read that story last for it to make any sense, and it's AU anyway so far as I'm concerned.

Date: 2004-04-28 02:42 pm (UTC)Let me know if the font choices are a problem. The Diary itself is the only bit of fic that really needs to have its particular font- I was trying to simulate the look of a typewritten document.
