Someone. Get. This. Bunny. Off. My. Leg.
Mar. 16th, 2004 12:01 pmAnother HP crossover, but this time with a nonfiction work...
All Creatures Great and Small takes on an entirely new sort of cast when Dr. James Herriot is in fact leading a double life, treating both Muggle and wizarding creatures in the Yorkshire Dales.
Look, dammit, I have to finish John; I've got to work on the next part of Draco and Uncle Lucious; I've got Ira Dayan and Wayne Zhuang and Sergeant Preston and heck, even John Lyon, who's still waiting to go get certified as an Animagus. I do NOT need this idea, thanks.

"'fraid so. . ."
*fireplace turns green*
"Hold on a tic, would you?"
"Herriot, is that you?"
"Yes, Adam, could you hurry it up please, I've got a Muggle on the phone."
"All right, I'll be brief. Abraxian horse with wrenched wing tendons and a nasty tendency to kick."
"Aren't those bigger than my entire tool shed?"
"That's the ones. And this one flattened the last three Mediwizards to approach him."
"Urrgh. I'd sooner shove my arm up that Muggle's cow."

P.S. - I forget. How do you take your brownies? Nuts or no nuts (specify type). Plain chocolate, or with swirls of anything (peanutbutter, caramel, white chocolate chips, creme cheese, etc)

Date: 2004-03-16 11:27 am (UTC)I will consider the possibility of a Herriot/Potter one-shot when my writing schedule clears up a bit and when I have time to re-read the bloody Herriot books. It's been a few years.
