Who am I kidding? My heart's not in the current scraps. Well, no, that's not true, it is; I know exactly where the scraps end up, I just don't want to do the work in the middle to get there. I will, though- I started the thing and I'll finish it. It's just that I sat down to try and get a bit more done and realized that the reason it's coming so slowly is because Japan's got to fight its way through three or four entirely separate Canadian story impulses in my head.

olna_jenn, I am going to finish Kiyoshi's story, but it may take a while. I think I need Sergeant Preston back for a bit first. Possibly Wayne Zhuang, but more likely the Sergeant. I'm really sorry. Kiyoshi's story will be a lot better for it, if that helps at all.

And there will be a happy dog, with happy living parents.
