camwynAm in LA at the Holiday Inn nearest LAX. Have rented Red Cross car from Avis. Will drive to San Bernardino tomorrow morning w/Red Cross volunteer from Raleigh, NC in my car. Nice man but despite my repeated insistence otherwise he thinks I"m male; I guess I shouldn't have had my ponytail cut off (hair is chin length now). Will update when I get to SBern as this computer is deuced expensive.
Have read The Unpleasantness at the Bellona Club as my mandatory in-flight novel.
