Too tired for Sgt. Preston listening tonight. Maybe tomorrow. I got four hours of sleep last night - no caffeine, just writing right before bed plus an exceptionally lumpy mattress - and spent most of today at the office fighting to maintain a reasonable coherency. I got an hour's rest when I got home from work this afternoon, but I expect I'll be going to bed early tonight anyway. Got a family reunion tomorrow - LOTS of my dad's relatives - I've invited two of my friends from Kean to come with me. Should be fun.
Will definitely put forth all due efforts to produce the next Diary of a Mountie entry tomorrow after the reunion. I've already started it, but I got perhaps two sentences into it at work and realised any further work on my part would be useless. Theoretically I could work on it now, but I don't want to mangle it.
Have been pawing through some websites to re-familiarise myself with our neighbours to the north. Gods, I'd forgotten how very fond I am of Canada. BTW, to my Canadian readers: thank you for letting my great-grandmother work in your country for two years before she finally got a job here in the States. And thank you for having a country that's just cool in general.
