EDIT: for those of y'all who find yourself needing rehydration right the hell now, because of puking or attempted hydro-rocket takeoff, the World Health Organization recipe for oral rehydration solution if you cannot get Pedialyte or a similar commercial product:
half a teaspoon salt (3 grams)
2 tablespoons sugar (25 grams)
and about a quart/1 liter + 60mL/4.25 cups water.
By eyeball, that's a fistful of sugar, a three-finger pinch of salt, a liter of water, and ideally some element of citrus for flavoring and absorption
