(no subject)

I'm awake, which is something of an accomplishment.

still taking the ferry to work on days when we have to physically go into the office. Didn't like the look of the sky and the speed of the winds this morning so I took the bus as far as it went towards the ferry, bought some coffee at a local shop, and walked the rest of the way to the ferry dock. The boat ran a little late but we got into Boston safely, and I was able to get a Hubway or Bluebike or whatever the hell the bikeshares are called at this point and ride the remaining mile or so to the office. Dealing with tech support issues now, got fire marshal training in half an hour, got two other meetings after that, supposed to have a Comcast phone tech come in to troubleshoot one of my users sometime around noon... blrgh.

oh, and did I mention that I'm on day three of an exceptionally heavy Shark Week? Yeah.

I'll deal with the workday, it's overall honestly not that bad, but I just... would have preferred to be working from home.
